Feeling Stuck, Uncertain, Distracted?

So much going on lately. I don’t even have to explain. It’s a lot. I often feel overwhelmed, discouraged, exhausted. What’s also true is that I feel inspired, exhilarated, peaceful. I have times of despair, but I also have times of great hope – hope that the world will be transformed, that we’ll take these troubled times and re-examine how we want to live, both collectively and individually. 

We are all going to emerge from this moment in some way. What if we could emerge feeling more like ourselves and more clear about what we stand for and what we want? Sounds simple enough, but how? 

If you’re trying to do that but not making much progress, maybe it’s time to get really still so you can meet the moment. It’s a moment that we’ve never had before. While there might be a lot of information out there, no one really knows what’s next. It’s never been more important to go within and know what’s true for you right now.

I created some resources to guide you. If you’ve been feeling out of sorts, these resources can help. If you’ve been feeling frustrated, irritated, or anxious, this is a great place to begin. 

You can use these tools at your own pace or come back to them whenever you need them. You can start at the beginning and go tool-by-tool. Or, you can jump to the tool that appeals to you most. It’s not linear.

They’re simple and don’t take much time, but can create good-feeling shifts that help help you get still and know your next best step.

The idea of “Be still and know,” is not new. But how do you get still? How do you know? Here are some concepts and tools to help guide you back to that calm place inside, where your wisdom resides.

Finding Your Way Forward

If you’re feeling stuck and not sure how to move forward, here are some ideas that can get you unstuck. I return to them time and time again in my own life, and you can too.  These may be troubled times, but you don’t have to wait for things to “get better” to begin. You can begin right now. You can find your way no matter what is going on “out there” because your guidance system is “in here”. 

These are foundational concepts and tools designed to help you get still and hear your own wisdom. You can feel so much relief when you find that calm place within you, and that is a gift you can give yourself over and over. 

Also, when you start to move forward, you do so aligned with who you are right now. As well, you have tools to return to when the world knocks you off your center.
