It's a Tough Week
Tough week. Tough year. Plus, we’re all going through our own stuff. Remember back in the Winter when we were in our #futureboards Book Club? We were dreaming and scheming about this year. When I look back, I feel so naive. But, who would have guessed all this?
One thing that kept coming up during that Book Club was another book, Ask and It Is Given by Esther Hicks. Just reading that book makes you feel calm. It’s a great book to return to. Especially these days.
On that note, Esther just did a YouTube video demonstrating how to use the emotional scale to feel better right now, in November.
She guides us up the scale in the context of the current US election. A link is below. I really think it’s worth the 6 minutes it takes to watch it, even if you don’t live in the US. It will help you get through this election and beyond.

Feelings are the most important thing.
When you do this, how do you feel at the end versus how you felt at the beginning? Now notice what you feel like doing. Has it shifted? Can you use something like this to change the trajectory of your day?
You don't have to wait for the world to get better.
I catch myself waiting for things to get better. That’s not wrong, but it’s not entirely right either. The truth is we all have the power to feel better right now, and feeling better will help you do better. And often, action is the antidote to anxiety, depression, malaise.

The Reset Plan
I have a new program for these times. It’s called The Reset Plan. It’s to help us get back on track in November and December. Who knows what the future holds but we can’t be on pause forever.
It’s for you if you need to get going, but you can’t. Or, if you’ve let simple comforts turn into bad habits and you know it, but you still do them.
