It's a big day. And a big night.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It’s Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

It’s also The Great Conjunction, where Saturn and Jupiter meet in the sky ending a twenty year cycle and, more significantly, a 200 year cycle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

This conjunction has been called the Christmas Star. It’s a once in a generation bright light in the sky. If the skies are clear where you are, you can look near the moon after sunset today and see it.\u00a0<\/p>

In my mind’s eye, I imagine us all looking up into the dark and finding hope in that pinprick of light as humans have done forever.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
