It\u2019s time to be anti-racist. It\u2019s time for me to acknowledge that through my silence, I have caused harm, and I\u2019m taking responsibility for that. I\u2019m making a commitment to invest in whatever it takes to unlearn and unwind my white privilege.<\/p><p>Where does one begin? I\u2019m turning towards black women to listen and learn. Recently, Layla F Saad said on her Instagram account that if you don\u2019t know where to begin, just google it. There\u2019s more than enough information if you care to look. That was humbling to hear. Another great place to begin is #sharethemicnow on Instagram.<\/p><p>I understand that I will never fully understand, however, I stand with black women and women of color. I also understand, more than ever, that it\u2019s not up to black people to change white people. It\u2019s up to white people to change themselves and create change in white culture.<\/p><p>As a small business owner who is committed to helping women live authentic lives, I am learning. I am striving to do better. I\u2019m committing to do my work. What\u2019s your work when it comes to white privilege?<\/p><p>Listen. Stay safe.
