It’s a brand new year, a brand new decade. A clean slate.<\/p>

There’s a big, beautiful year stretching out in front of you and you have the opportunity to fill it with whatever you desire. You have everything you need to make your future better than your past!<\/p>

What was great about 2019?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I love the beginning of the year. It feels so fresh and open. It’s a great time to reflect and to dream your dream. If you’re like me and would like to access all this new year energy, here’s a quick process to get you off to a good start.<\/p>

If you look at 2019 from a positive point of view, what did you love about it? Was it an information gathering year? A year of putting down what no longer serves you? A year of starts?\u00a0Where did you feel so good? What do you want to use from 2019 to build your foundation for 2020?<\/p>

Look at it with curiousity. With wonder.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Starting 2020 with a little magic.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Here’s a powerful, quick, insightful exercise. It activates your intuition, which can provide insight that your brain can not.<\/p>

You need three pieces of paper and a pen. You can do a simple drawing or add whatever color you’re inspired to add. On separate pieces of paper:\u00a0<\/p>

a)<\/span> Draw a picture of you today. (Quality does not matter. This is for you and you alone.)<\/p>

b)<\/span> Draw a picture of you with your biggest problem. What’s constantly on your mind? What is persistent?<\/p>

c)<\/span> Draw a picture of you after your problem has been solved.<\/p>

Don’t think too much about it. Do it quickly. Don’t worry about quality.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I know. I’m such an artist. LOL. This kind of surprised me. I’m up in front of people teaching. While I knew I wanted to share more, I didn’t think of it like this. I’m with more people. There are people behind me, reflecting my desire to be part of something versus working alone all the time. There are trees, flowers, reflecting my desire to be in nature more. And there’s the horse. (Yes, that’s a horse. \ud83d\ude42 )<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Doing an exercise like this accesses the part of you that has information that your brain can’t always access. It takes five to ten minutes.\u00a0<\/p>

For me, it kind of brought into focus some of the ideas that have been floating around in my head. Somehow getting it out on paper provides clarity. Oddly, I love looking at it. It makes me feel excited about 2020!\u00a0<\/p>

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being here. Thanks for reading, for commenting, emailing me with your thoughts over the past couple of years.<\/p>

I truly, from the bottom of my heart, appreciate your desire to grow, to find meaning in what you do, to live the life you want.<\/p>

I have new dreams for my coaching business. My focus is to help women in the middle of life live meaningful lives, whatever that means to each woman. The world really needs us right now. It needs our strength, our wisdom, our passion. Our desire to make a difference is so important. We’re not done yet! We have so much to contribute.<\/p>
